Went to Birmingham NEC for the Memorabilia show today. Saw Robbie Fowler, Gary McAllister, a few porn stars, the old bloke who played fagin in Oliver (and Oliver himself), all the usual Star Wars peeps, the bloke out of Confessions of a Window Cleaner, and stars of The Walking Dead and The Hunger Games.

One of the interview questions was the one I would’ve asked which was something along the lines of ‘why have you blatantly ripped off Battle Royale?’ – it was wasted on both actors as neither of them had seen it. The MC tried to help out by saying that the Hunger games was America and that Battle Royale was Japanese – brilliant!

There was a Comic Con MC Expo there too – so lots of stalls, artists and of course Cosplay peeps. There were some slick expensive looking outfits, some home made jobs which were great and some real ‘could try harder’s. I just want to dedicate this post to those people who let me take snaps. I only picked the people who had made a real effort. There were a couple of fat Stormtroopers that need to take a serious look in the mirror before they go out and a rather pathetic looking Sonic who needs to sort out his hair – looked like a bunch of blue bananas…
